Jean Pierre Mampaey will remain connected as a trusted advisor in his position as CEO of the umbrella Hospitality Cloud Solutions Group, but no longer be operationally involved in the daily operations and the leadership team of Maxxton. The tasks and responsibilities of the COO will still be monitored by Ruben as well during the upcoming months.

,,Maxxton Software is built out of the largest players’ inside knowledge and experience over more than 20 years. We have built a strong property management software product portfolio and are now more than ready for further global expansion. I am convinced that Ruben is able to bring Maxxton to the next level with his gained expertise and knowledge within Maxxton about the complex businesses, our advanced software products, and the challenging hospitality industry. Ruben already showed as COO that he is more than ready to take over from me.”

,,I am really excited and grateful for the trust in me to take this next step in my career as CEO of Maxxton. Based on my roles within Maxxton in the last five years and my established relationship with Jean Pierre Mampaey and other Maxxton colleagues, I feel more than ready to seize this opportunity with both hands.” From a business perspective, Ruben continues: “The need for holiday companies to be flexible and adaptable with their software while combining different business models and regulations in a variety of international sales and product markets is higher than ever. Maxxton is able to provide this data-driven SaaS-platform and is capable of adopting changes with a short time-to-market. Our potential is huge and we are looking forward to executing the planned direction of growth.”

Ruben de Looff

Background

Ruben de Looff studied Finance and Change Management at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. Before joining Maxxton, he worked at Rabobank, in a variety of Finance related roles. As Business Consultant he started for Maxxton by getting to know the software modules in detail while working on implementation projects. Over a short period of time, he was able to adopt the necessary ‘saas’ knowledge and domain expertise to become responsible for Maxxton’s operational and commercial activities in his role as COO.
