About the role:

Maxxton, a leading SaaS company specialising in reservation and property management
systems for holiday park operators, campsite groups, and the vacation rental industry, is
seeking an IT intern eager to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology. Join
Maxxton as an IT intern and gain practical experience in software development, data science,
and cloud-based solutions within a dynamic international team.

What you’ll achieve:

• Software Engineering: Work with Java, Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, React,
  HTML, and CSS.
• Data Science Engineering: Use Machine Learning, Python, R, and SQL.
• Contribute to projects such as:
  o Developing a high-traffic visual resize and optimisation service.
  o Integrating automated performance and load testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  o Using Machine Learning for intrusion and anomaly detection.
  o Automating confidential data management for new and existing clients.

Skills you’ll need to bring:

• A sociable student with an ambition to grow.
• Strong affinity with software development and problem-solving.
• Communicative, analytical, and eager to learn.
• Proficiency in English (Dutch is a plus).

Nice to haves:

• Experience in IT Department
• Experience working in B2B or SaaS companies.
• Proficiency in CMS tools.
• A collaborative mindset, open to ideas and perspectives at all levels of seniority.
• A belief in what you can’t measure, in pleasure-seeking; after all, Maxxton is in the recreation business.
